On Sunday, May 4thth at 10PM, the PBS World Channel will air the new documentary BRIDGE OVER THE WADI as part of the new series GLOBAL VOICES, which features a world-class array of internationally themed documentaries made by U.S.-based and international filmmakers.
A film by brothers Tomer and Barak Haymann, BRIDGE OVER THE WADI looks at an innovative, experimental elementary school called Bridge Over the Wadi, located in Israel's Wadi Valley. A mixed school with Arab and Jewish teachers teaching Arab and Jewish students, the school’s goal is to create meaningful interactions amongst the town’s Arab and Israeli residents, fostering dialogue and mutual understanding – beginning with the children.
